Wealth Partners Connect is an innovative, first of its kind offering which allows affordable access to financial advice in Australia.

Wealth Partners Connect, is delivered digitally, providing more affordable access to a financial adviser without the obligation or costs associated with of an ongoing relationship with an adviser. You only pay for the time you meet with an adviser upfront via our PayPal merchant facility. Meetings are booked via our scheduling service so that you can choose a time and date that suits you, immediately upon booking. Meetings for new clients are available in 30, 45 or 60-minute increments and for repeat bookings, a 15-minute time slot can be booked for additional questions. The meeting costs are outlined further down. Wealth Partners connect is designed to provide you with general advice that addresses your specific questions. You should attach relevant information to your booking request to get the most out of your meeting with an adviser.

If the advice provided cannot be delivered within the context of general advice, simple advice can also be provided digitally, however this will take additional time and incur additional costs to meet the requirements of personal advice as set out in legislation. The advice can still be delivered digitally and in person however, more information will be needed, and the advice will need to be documented and supplied within prescribed timeframes and this incurs an additional cost. An adviser will discuss this cost and process and help to ascertain whether traditional personal financial advice is more appropriate for your situation and needs.

General Advice

During your scheduled meeting, our advisers may provide factual information and general advice in respect to the following core areas:

  • Your existing superannuation fund/s
  • Accessing Superannuation.
  • Ownership Structure of existing Insurance Policies to improve cash flow.
  • Understanding the Pension factor reduction measures.
  • General advice and information including:
    • Understanding how recent volatility has affected your portfolio.

‘Simple Advice’

Your engagement with Wealth Partners is for the scheduled meeting only. During your scheduled meeting, if our adviser identifies that advice beyond factual information and general advice is needed to meet your needs, you will be asked if you want to proceed within the context of Simple Advice. The following core areas set out the appropriateness of ‘Simple advice’:

  • Specific advice regarding your existing products including investment and superannuation fund/s.
  • Advising on how you should invest within your existing products based upon your risk tolerances.
  • Understanding your retirement position based upon your existing assets and investment timeframe.
  • Optimal salary sacrifices and contribution strategies into your existing products based upon your income and marginal tax rate.
  • Determining whether you on track for retirement based on your current situation and income needs.
  • Discussing how you can make improvements to your current situation utilising strategies without changing products and having a financial adviser ongoing.
  • Discussing your insurance needs and appropriate amounts of cover based upon your situation.

Simple Advice and services meet the definition of personal financial advice which is formulated to address your personal financial needs, objectives and circumstances and applicable service fees will apply to document this advice. An adviser will discuss any applicable costs prior to providing Simple advice and may recommend you instead seek holistic financial planning advice if the advice you are seeking should be provided in a more traditional financial planning context.
